Adult Handbuilding pottery course

Have you been watching The Great Pottery Throw Down, thought you might like to have a go at pottery yourself, or even follow in the footsteps of its judge Rich Miller who was once potter in residence here?

Join local potter Samantha Perkins for a six-week morning pottery course, designed for beginners or those with limited experience. Learn the three core techniques – coiling, slab building, and pinching – and develop confidence working with clay while creating your own forms in a relaxed, supportive studio environment. All makes will be glazed and decorated using a variety of techniques.

Clay, tools, and decorative materials are included in the course price.
Please bring an apron, wear old clothes, and closed-toe footwear.
