This is the story of museum volunteer Jean Wicken’s grandfather Fred Crawt who survived the war (with a Second World War postscript) and her great uncle George who didn’t. Jean knew nothing of their history until she uncovered it through family history research and the rediscovery of items buried in her attic.

A chance to meet with other people for coffee and chat first followed by the talk which lasts about 50 minutes. All talks are free but voluntary donations are welcome.
