International Social Prescribing Day Comes to Cranleigh

Social Prescribing is part of NHS England’s shift to personalised care within the the new Primary Care Networks (PCNs). It helps people to access services and support within their communities, and helps communities to build up capacity and resilience to meet future need.

In Guildford and Waverley, the social prescribing service has been up and running since February 2019 supporting local residents to access the support they need to improve their wellbeing.

On International Social Prescribing Day the Guildford and Waverley social prescribing team will be coming to Cranleigh Co-Operative with a pop-up information stand so local residents can learn more about the service and the opportunities on offer.
