Are you curious about astronomy and interested in hearing more? Wondered what it would be like to look at the stars with a telescope?
The evening will begin with an exciting cutting edge research lecture. Weather permitting, this will be followed by going to our telescope on campus. Or if the weather is not so good we will give you a tour of what you can see in the night sky on clearer nights. Members of our Astrophysics group will also be on hand during the evening to answer your questions.
Timetable
19:00: Talk starts
19:45: If clear up to the telescopes for star gazing
If cloudy short break, with a chance to talk to researchers from our Astrophysics group and then a talk on what you can see in the night sky this month.
