In September Memory Lane were sorry to announce that the Musical Memories Concert planned for Saturday 11th October in the Village Hall, needed to be deferred due to health and safety reasons. The new Dementia Choir will continue practicing ready to perform with the Memory Lane Singers and Guest Artists in the near future.
Last month Memory Lane welcomed back Luminus at one of the sessions who gave a very helpful talk and discussion on Giving Carers a Voice. This month the second session will be something quite different for Carers, whilst their partners experiencing dementia, are being entertained. It is a Sound Bath Meditation Session led by Jez Smith who promises total relaxation from the stressful life of a Carer. Walk in the Park will be at 10.3am as usual on Monday the 11th November.
Memory Lane meet at 2.15pm in the Arts Centre every 1st and 3rd Monday each month. Walk in the Park is every 3rd Monday around Knowle Park Cranleigh.
