ArtbyIngridSkoglund – song of the wind

Ingrid Skoglund is a contemporary experimental artist based in a messy home studio in Surrey. Much of her artwork has been created with acrylic mixed with silicone oil (they really don’t like each other) chasing this mix around a large canvas with a cake spatula or a hot hairdryer on full blast and finished off with a blowtorch.

Lunchtime Concert: Christian Sandrin (piano)

Cristian is an artist engaging with a multitude of repertoire, but especially devoted to the Mozartian repertoire – a passion that has led him to conduct numerous piano concertos from the keyboard for summer music festivals such as the Naarden International Piano Festival (Netherlands), the Eifel Musicale Festival (Germany) and the KamerArt Experience (Romania).

Bootleg Boss – Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band

Bootleg Boss are a UK based seven-piece band that perform the classic songs of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.

Formed in 2012 this accomplished and exciting Live Band features Kev Jamieson as the vocal-singing, guitar-playing, harmonica-blowing, band-leading, audience-engaging, dance-inducing, singalong-inspiring Boss.

Kids Craft: Leaf Art

Autumn is here and the children are invited to study the beauty in our natural surroundings with leaf printing in various forms. The most successful prints can be turned into cards or gift tags to bring home.

Sound Bath

Lightyear (PG)

The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans. Chris Evans lends his voice to Buzz. Award-winning director and veteran Pixar animator Angus MacLane helms “Lightyear.”

Operation Mincemeat (PG13)

Operation Mincemeat is set in 1943 as the Allies are determined to launch an all-out assault on Fortress Europe. But they face an impossible challenge – to protect a massive invasion force from entrenched German firepower and avert a potential massacre.

Open Mic Night

A new venture for Cranleigh Arts, we invite you to our open mic night.  We encourage all musicians from opera to rap to take the mic.  The evening is supported by a house band and hosted by Nigel Sanctuary, a local musician, who is passionate about discovering the best local talent.

Consone String Quartet

28th Oct – 7.30pm – £25

The first period instrument string quartet to be selected as BBC New Generation Artists, the Consone Quartet is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting ensembles of their generation. This concert is fundraising for Meath Epilepsy Charity, Godalming and Cranleigh Arts.

Each ticket will include a glass of wine on arrival.
