Cranleigh Arts & Craft Society

by Nicola Holt & Yvonne Fenner

The Cranleigh Art & Crafts Society Exhibition is an annual event that provides members of the Society the opportunity to showcase their creative work.

Held in Cranleigh Village Hall, this exhibition has been a longstanding tradition spanning many years. Members eagerly participate by paying a nominal fee to display their art and craft work, which is then available for sale over a three day period, Thursday 12th Friday 13th and Saturday 14th October 2023. The artworks are meticulously arranged by Society members on display panels, transforming the Village Hall into an inspiring gallery space. The artworks span various styles and subjects, showcasing the diverse talents of the members. Paintings are not the sole focus, as the Society encompasses a range of artistic disciplines, including crafts.

The craft area is a significant part of the exhibition, featuring diverse array of creative works. Visitors can expect to find jewellery. Woodwork, miniature designs and more. This multifaceted approach to the exhibition allows the Society’s members to showcase their expertise and innovation across different mediums.

To complement the artistic experience, refreshments will be available for visitors graciously provided and served by members of the Society.  Should visitors have any queries or need assistance, stewards are on hand to provide guidance and information throughout the event.
