Santa Sleigh – don’t miss the chance for Selfies with Santa

Christmas is coming and it will soon be time for Santa to start his rounds in Cranleigh. This year, we are offering you the chance to take a selfie with your children and Santa.

Our planned visit schedule is below, but as last year, we won’t be knocking at doors or giving out toys – just listen out for our bell and the sound of carols.

Santa’s Sleigh will be stopping at various points so you can say hello and get a selfie. Subject to the weather, he will be visiting on the following dates in December. If the weather’s wet, please check our website or follow us on Facebook or Twitter for all the latest updates.

CHRISTMAS HAMPER APPEAL

We are continuing with our Hamper Appeal again this year to help some of the less fortunate in our community to enjoy a few treats at Christmas. Given the hardships of the last year or so, we think it’s even more important this year.

The numbers we give grow every year. Last year it was a record 172. So to help us manage the logistics of such large numbers, we replaced individual hampers last year with Supermarket vouchers, and we will be doing the same again this year.

We will be collecting outside Sainsbury’s and the Co-op between 10am and 4pm on Saturdays 4th and 11th December. We will not be collecting food, but instead, we ask you to help us by donating generously on those days, either cash or card or via our new QR donations code.

And Finally…
Cranleigh Lions would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and to thank you all for your generous support. Without this support, we wouldn’t be able to help the less fortunate people of Cranleigh.
