London Welsh Rugby Choir Returns

By Peter Bond

The London Welsh Rugby Club Choir are making a return visit to Cranleigh, following their sell out concert in 2021. The concert will be taking place in the Cranleigh Arts Centre at 7.30 pm on the 3rd September, in order to raise funds for the Cranleigh Rotary Community Fund and Cranleigh Arts Centre.

In addition to a varied programme of favourites by the highly praised choir, the evening will include a musical interlude by the classical guitarist Fiona Harrison.

It is expected that a good number of people and local charities or organisations will be struggling with their finances over the coming months. Because of this it is likely that the Rotary Community Fund will called upon to help more than usual. This concert will hopefully increase the amount of money available to meet requests for support.

If you have purchased tickets for the concert….many thanks for the support. If you have not yet purchased tickets, please consider coming along. Spread the word about the concert, and encourage your relatives and friends to come to what is sure to be an enjoyable evening.

The tickets cost £16. There are still some tickets available and it would be great if once again the concert is a SELL OUT.

To book tickets go online to www.cranleigharts.org, telephone the Box Office on 01483 278000 or call in at the Arts Centre, Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
