New Life . . .

Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers, fertility and spring protected the early blossoms. She was generally represented as a beautiful maiden, garlanded with flowers. Her name is derived from the Latin word ‘floris’ meaning flower.

Just coming out of the dark nights and deadness of winter, we see the beginnings of plants and flowers reaching out for the daylight that gives us new life.

Today we need to be careful how what and where we plant things, not only in the ground but what we plant in our lives! Our children! Our families, our morals! – for we’ve all heard the saying . . . . ‘you reap what you sow.’

Have you planted anything yet and what will it bring?

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
