Our aim is to provide an enriching experience with horses to people living with dementia or similar conditions. We will tailor each session to meet the requirements of participants, carers and family members. We will give them a chance to be with a pony, to talk and just have time in a safe, friendly environment. Of course, with a cup of tea and cake for all. We may have a demonstration of working with a horse in the arena for everyone to watch.
We have now run ‘Tea with a Pony’ for two years and it has proved to be a great success, so we are running sessions again this year in the summer holidays.
