In 2015, local author and historian Rod Weale published a well received book, To the end, to the end, they remain, featuring biographies of those commemorated on the village war memorial who died in the Great War.
He is now researching and writing biographies of the local men and women named on the War Memorial who died during the Second World War.

The first book
Copies of the 1914 to 1918 edition are available at a cost of £14.99 from the author. Sales of the book support the Cranleigh British Legion.
