
Memory Lane has enjoyed much activity in recent weeks and following their regular Walk in the Park with twenty Memory Lane guests, experiencing the joys of strolling around Cranleigh’s Knowle Park together. There was also a very special occasion for them on the following Monday in Cranleigh Arts Centre.

Memory Lane were honoured by a further visit by Dr Jill Rasmussen who outlined in her presentation to nineteen guests the advancement made, since the 30’s, especially by Alzheimer’s Research, the largest dementia research charity in Europe. As National Advisor to both General Practitioners and National Government, Dr Rasmussen was able to help Carers with their concerns and provide guidelines for them to produce a Care Plan. She also helped them to arrange an Annual Review with the aid of her Dementia Care and Support Planning Toolkit.

Memory Lane Meetings this month will be at 2pm on Monday 5th and 19th October in Cranleigh Arts Centre. Everyone is welcome especially if you are able to sing-a-long whilst led by Anne on one of her ukuleles. On Monday 12th October, from 10.30am guests will be taken around Knowle Park. This is a fun, relaxing walk that anyone is welcome to join.
