Cranleigh Santa Dash 2020

Rotary Club of Cranleigh, Cranleigh Chamber of Commerce and Cranleigh Sunflowers are back again hosting the Cranleigh Santa Dash at 10.30am on Sunday 13th December 2020.

We’ve made changes to the event this year, to keep runners and volunteers safe during current times.

A physical run, limited to 100 participants and following a 5km cross country route, will take place on Sunday 13th December with waves of 20 runners each starting at 10 minute intervals.

Run numbers and your Santa hat will be posted to you ahead of the event. No spectators will be permitted on course and no refreshments will be available. Volunteers will wear PPE.

Alternatively, you can register today for the Cranleigh Santa Dash 2020 Virtual Run!

Record a run, walk or crawl of at least 5km between 1st and 25th December 2020, and then email us a link to your GPS file (or a note of your run details) and any photos, and we will send you your Cranleigh Santa Dash medal between Christmas and New Year. Email us at:

The Cranleigh Santa Dash virtual run is a fantastic option to share in some festive joy, enjoy some exercise in the Great Outdoors, and earn yourself a custom designed medal – all while raising money for Rotary Club of Cranleigh and their fantastic good causes.

Kids and adults are welcome to either event.

The physical run this year will take place in Knowle Park in Cranleigh, which is a two-lap cross country 5km course. Be prepared to get muddy. Every participant will get their running number, safety pins, run briefing and Santa Hat in the post in the week before the event. We expect the 100 tickets to sell out very quickly – first come, first served!

First aid cover will be provided and there will be an official photographer taking photos during the run.

A further 200 entries are available for the Cranleigh Santa Dash virtual run. Each participant will receive a Santa hat and briefing note in the post, and then a medal in the post once they have submitted evidence of their 5km run.

All profits raised from this event will be donated by Rotary Club of Cranleigh to the local primary schools (Park Mead, Cranleigh Infants, St Cuthbert Mayne and Ewhurst Infants).

Thank you to our main sponsor, Informed Choice Independent Financial Planners, for making this event possible and making sure all entry fees can go directly to the fundraising causes.

Entry is just £15 per person. The price is the same for the physical run and the virtual run. Entries are strictly non-transferrable.
