Scout Finch & her older brother Jem live in sleepy Maycomb, Alabama, spending much of their time spying on their reclusive & mysterious neighbour, Boo. When Atticus, their widowed father & a respected lawyer, defends a black man against fabricated rape charges, the trial & ensuing events expose the children to the evils of racism & prejudice.
