It promises to be full of action!

Established in 1856, Cranleigh Cricket Club is a Club at the heart of the community playing a large part in the Summer sports calendar and developing youth sports and activity.

This historic cricket Club is an important sporting and social asset to the Village for both adults and children and is home to current Surrey & England player Ollie Pope.

The club operates 4 adult teams, 200 juniors with a 50 strong (and growing) girls section, with the 1st XI playing in the Surrey Championship Division 1 looking to achieve promotion straight back into Premier League after relegation last year.

Cranleigh Cricket Club raises funds each year to deliver an extremely valuable community outreach programme which includes free coaching to children in Cranleigh’s 4 local schools, encouraging all young local players to participate in the sport but more importantly have access to play cricket to ensure we have a sustainable sport in our community.

Having won both the Surrey T20 Edwards Cup and thereafter the Southern Area Final, the Club is into new waters in the Regional section of the T20 competition but we are very much enjoying the ride!
